چکیده

There are three basic reasons why you might need to model a business: to re-engineer a business, to improve a business process and to automate a business process. Nevertheless, another reason may be very useful for analyst of software systems and their customers – to understand and automatically generate functional requirements to the system. The present paper describes the process of redefinition of the business process captured by the activity diagram and its mapping to the requirements specification represented by the use case model.

A Mapping from Normative Requirements to Event-B to Facilitate Verified Data-Centric Business Process Management

This paper addresses the problem of describing and analyzing data manipulation within business process workflow specifications. We apply a modeldriven approach. We begin with business requirement specifications, consisting of an ontology and an associated set of normative rules, that define the ways in which business processes can interact. We then transform this specification into an Event-B s...

Mapping Business Process Modeling constructs to Behavior Driven Development Ubiquitous Language

Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) is a specification technique that automatically certifies that all functional requirements are treated properly by source code, through the connection of the textual description of these requirements to automated tests. Given that in some areas, in special Enterprise Information Systems, requirements are identified by Business Process Modeling – which uses grap...

Policy-enabled goal-oriented requirements engineering for semantic Business Process Management

Business process management (BPM) develops into a new paradigm for enterprise computing that uses information technology (IT) not only to support or execute business processes, but also to continuously monitor and improve these processes in order to better achieve business objectives. BPM’s variant Semantic Business Process Management (SBPM) is meant to further close the gap between business an...

B-Tropos Agent-oriented requirements engineering meets computational logic for declarative business process modeling and verification

The analysis of business requirements and the specification of business processes are fundamental for the development of information systems. The first part of this paper presents B-Tropos as a way to combine business goals and requirements to the business process model. B-Tropos enhances a well-known agent-oriented early requirements engineering framework with declarative business process-orie...
